CHALLENGE
The web has become boring. Most websites are designed based on templates and look the same. The web promises a lot – information, interaction, communication, but only few websites fully utilize this capabilities. Where is the unique experience for the user? Where the interaction with other users?
SOLUTION
The design of this site was individually created based on properties of the user’s computer. The site offered four experimental discussion areas in an interactive Flash interface. Every user who ever visited the site was made visible on the interface with a small icon and had the option to contact other users through personal messages.
RESULT
The whole page received multiple awards like a Honorary Mention at the Ars Electronica 2003 and became Site of the Day at the Favorite Website Award (FWA).
